Delton Fire Receives Delivery!

Thanks to AT&T, the Palace Theater, and REACH-A-Child, the Lake Delton Fire and EMS Department received REACH BAGs for all 15 vehicles of their fleet. The delivery took place this past Friday, August 9th.

A REACH BAG is a durable backpack filled with new children’s books and drawstring backpacks. First Responders across the state use the books to comfort children they encounter in crisis situations and distract them from the immediate trauma.

The books and backpacks were acquired thanks to a very generous donation from AT&T and the Palace Theater, which is located just a short distance from the Lake Delton Fire House. The Department will also receive hundreds of new children’s books for use in positive, community engaging activities.
