On October 1st, REACH-A-Child delivered Detective Lieutenant Julie Buerger accepted 15 REACH BAGs and 400 additional books on behalf of the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department. We also visited the Wisconsin Rapids Fire Department, where Battalion Chief Ben Goodreau and his colleague accepted 10 REACH BAGs accompanied by another 500 additional children’s books for community engagement.
We’re delighted to now be a part of the Wisconsin Rapids community and play an active role in providing comfort to children in crisis situations, as well as foster positive relationships between first responders and the youth in their communities!
