REACH-A-Child was able to deliver 17 REACH BAGs to the Edgerton Police and Fire/EMS Departments this past Friday, July 12th, 2019. Our REACH BAG is a durable backpack filled with new children’s books and drawstring backpacks.

The books and backpacks were acquired thanks to a generous donation from AT&T made earlier this year. Four REACH BAGs were delivered to Police Chief Robert Kowalski, with an additional 13 provided to the Fire & EMS unit. Thank you to AT&T for helping REACH-A-Child continue its mission. Our goal is to provide a REACH BAG to every First Responder in Wisconsin.

Currently, the entire fleet of Wisconsin State Patrol vehicles and over 140 Sheriff/Police/Fire/EMS Departments across the state carry REACH BAGs. In 2018, REACH-A-Child delivered 23,062 new children’s books to Wisconsin First Responders.
