Middleton first responders surprise 7-year-old with birthday parade

MIDDLETON (WKOW) -- Ben in Middleton turned seven Wednesday, but his mom had to cancel his party because of the coronavirus pandemic.

He asked his mom, "Do I still get to turn seven?" He thought no party meant no birthday.

Middleton Police, Fire and EMS made sure Ben had something to celebrate. They coordinated with his mom to hold a drive-by parade of their emergency vehicles.

"It's really heartwarming. They're taking time out of their day and the work that they need to do to keep us all safe and come and surprise this little guy was something pretty special," said Becky Hubing, Ben's mom.
