REACH-A-Child™ attends a Madison Mallards Fundraiser!
On July 1st, REACH-A-Child™ was present at the Madison Mallards game for a fundraiser with the proceeds going back to REACH! Throughout the evening guests to the game had to opportunity to stop by the REACH-A-Child™ booth and learn more about the REACH BAG program.
Volunteers from REACH-A-Child™ were also walking around selling 50/50 raffle tickets that the game attendees were able to purchase. There were 6,678 guests in attendance that evening and the winner of the 50/50 raffle took home over $1,500 in cash. The game announcer made multiple announcements about the REACH BAG program and our 30-second commercial was able to be played on the jumbo screen. Not to mention Marketing Director, Eric Salzwedel, threw the first pitch.
At the booth, we had Program Coordinator, Patricia Sugden, help guests learn about the REACH BAG program, take donations, sell 501/50 tickets and answer general questions about the event and REACH-A-Child™. Patricia was even accompanied by McGruff: The Crime Dog; kids enjoyed taking pictures with McGruff throughout the event.
Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers who helped sell 50/50 raffle tickets! That’s a tough job and we appreciate your work and determination to help raise money for REACH.
Thank you also to McGruff for being present at the event. You were awesome!
Lastly, thank you to the Madison Mallards for having us at the event and to the guests who supported us by donating and purchasing 50/50 tickets.
